So we take rest and enjoy the day exploring the picturesque scenery of Namche Bazaar. Explore the village, stock up on some much-needed snacks for the trek ahead and be sure to check out the bakery – one of the best! The market on a Saturday is also a major attraction. Gokyo Ri is the most adventurous of this trip. Early morning, we hike up to the Gokyo Ri (Gokyo Peak). Climbing to Gokyo Ri is obviously tiring but adventurous as it is steep up and takes about 3 to 4 hours to reach at the top of the pick. Looking at Gokyo village on the edge of third lake overlooked by Cholatse and the broad Ngozumpa Glacier are mind blowing. We also get the fabulous views of Cho Oyu. We feel as if we are in heaven when we are surrounded by panoramic mountains like Kusum Kanguru, Thamserku, K 43, Kangtega, Taboche, Cholatse, Makalu, Lhotse, Nuptse, Everest, Changtse, and Pumori. As this is a lengthy trek we want your physical and mental health to be at its best. Our advice is to do regular exercises and preparations before the trek. We recommend stamina building exercises like running and swimming. This allows your body to adapt and sustain the energy level keeping your health in check. Our professional guides will guide the trek with utmost caution and safety. You will trek in a slow and steady pace and taking lots of breaks. The key is to trek slow, acclimatize and drink plenty of liquids during the trek.

The best trekking experience depends on the time of the year. ETPT Trek can be done in all seasons with professional guides. But spring season (March to May) and autumn seasons (September to November) are of course the best seasons for the trek. In spring, the moderate and dry climate makes trekking comfortable. The flourishing bio diversity makes the trails vibrant and beautiful. Autumn season provides better mountain views, less humidity and less perspiration. The clear blue skies bring about crisp views of the mountains. But the Himalayas won’t disappoint in any season. We provide the trekkers with best facilities throughout the year.
